Disclaimer: JAM Paranormal Research is not an amateur thrill-seeking ghost hunting group. We are a small group of researchers who conduct serious investigations into the paranormal. While the recent influx of TV shows has spawned several small groups, we base our investigations on research with hopes of publishing books and articles on the subject.
Who we are: JAM Paranormal Research, founded in 2007, is a group of investigators who conduct serious investigations into the paranormal. We are based in Eastern Pennsylvania, and include coverage in Berks County, Carbon County, Lehigh County, Luzerne County, Schuylkill County and Montgomery County, but that doesn't mean our investigations are exclusive to those six counties. We cover the entire Eastern region of Pennsylvania.
JAM PR is a research group. Our goal is to help clients, while gathering evidence for future publications on the science behind the paranormal.
This site is for JAM PR's findings. We post photos, video, EVPs and any other evidence we collect at different investigations (with client's permission). We write in-depth articles on our findings and the historical background of the place. Jimmy Johnson, a journalist, publishes the evidence in a professional manner with hopes of enlightening both skeptics and believers, whichever you may be.
JAM PR is a non-profit research organization. Our goal is to help those who are unsettled by paranormal activity in their homes or place of work, while gathering research. If you are having trouble with such activity, contact Jimmy Johnson at jimmyjohnson@jamparanormal.com to set up an investigation, or feel free to ask any questions you may have. No matter what type of haunt you think you may have, JAM Paranormal is willing and ready to help in any way it can.
1.22.12: We've been working on a few cases and I finally posted part of the report from our Schuylkill County investigation we had in September. The complete report will be up soon, but check it out. Case 015
9.1.11: JAM PR has posted its case report from when it was working with PVPA, a former group in Northeastern Pennsylvania in 2009. The first of three investigations to be posted from that time is one of the better investigations, a night at the Shanley Hotel in Napanoch, N.Y. Click Here
8.8.11: JAM PR has posted its case report from a historical Berks County industrial site that it investigated in a co-op investigation in March. It can be found on our Cases & Tech page. It includes one of our best EVPs ever recorded. Check it out.
7.23.11: JAM PR will be returning to a private residence it investigated in May. The follow-up investigation will hopefully provide us and the clients with some answers to what has turned into an incredible mystery. We look forward to sharing the details when we produce our post-investigation report in late August. This investigation will take place in mid-August.
7.21.11: JAM PR co-director/case manager Craig Johnson was touring the Battleship New Jersey with his family (just a historical tour) and he wisely had his Ovilus X and voice recorder with him and at the end of the tour, he broke off from the group and caught this Class A EVP. Read the report here.
6.24.11: JAM PR was going to assist another research group in an investigation of a Lehigh County blast furnace site that was in operation from the Civil War till the end of World War I, but there is a holdup with some paperwork and we're hoping to get there soon. We'll keep you up to date with the details when they become available. The name of the location plus the date of the investigation will be withheld until it is investigated to prevent any outside contamination.
In other news, we also have posted a new report, our first Tech Review, of the Ovilus X, which we have used during recent investigations. Go to the Cases & Tech page for the review.
6.20.11: JAM PR has completed its investigation of a Berks County residence and will post details after a follow-up investigation is conducted. We do have some great evidence to publish, but we do not want to post until we can publish a complete report. Please keep checking back for results.
5.27.11: JAM PR will be investigating a Berks County residence this weekend. The owners will remain anonymous to protect their identities, but we will publish a report (with their permission) on this case after the investigation is complete. We also will be working with a local University for a research project on paranormal investigations in the coming months.
3.28.11: JAM PR recently worked with Demonic Duo Consultants and the Reading Paranormal Society in a joint investigation at a Berks County historic landmark.
12.3.10: JAM PR has posted its results from Case 011 in Schuylkill County. We are currently working with a few clients right now, but we are open for cases if you need help.
